Brief description and main aims

Imagination Children's Learning Centre gives hope to children through awareness, empowerment and research to address the development concerns of children specially those with special needs. 

Main Activities

The organisation continuously conducts research on a number of children's disabilities, their causes and available solutions. The organisation also raises awareness for parents, local leaders, policy owners and influencers to commit resources in addressing such. 

The organisation targets vulnerable children below 18 years old and with particular dissabilities including cerebral palsy, autism, spina bifida, hydrocephalus, delayed speach, among others. 

Volunteer tasks

The volunteer's tasks are: 

  • Feeding children 
  • Playing with children 
  • Playing music and singing 
  • Helping therapists in exercise
  • Arts and crafts 
  • Bead work 
  • Cooking 
  • Cleaning and bathing the chilldren 

Location

Wasiko district, Najjera 2 Busibante Rd, Kira municipality. 

Hosting Situation (Board and Lodging)

The volunteer will live at the project and have his or her own room. The meals are shared.
