Brief description and main aims Mundo Libre provides a safe environment and place for children and teenagers that have been living on the streets or come from violent environments. One of the main aims is to give back the dignity and values that the children lost while living in the streets, through the consequences of drugs, sex exploitation, violence, etc, so they can re-integrate to society. |

One of the aims of Mundo Libre is to give back the dignity andvalues that the children lost while living in the streets, through the consequences of drugs, sex exploitation, violence, etc. so they can return to society.

Volunteer tasks
The volunteers will have to assist in the different areas (health, administrative, social work). Volunteers will receive training and according to their skills will be assigned to a specific area. During their time on the project they will take on more responsibilities, as the volunteers get to a deeper understanding of the needs and required activities.

Volunteer requirements / Skills
The volunteer must be at least 18 years old and have intermediate Spanish knowledge. They should have some experience working with children. Artistic skills are desirable.

Location
Pachacamac, Lima - Peru
The project is located in an rural area, located in the south east of Lima. It is 1 hour away from the center, almost one hour bus trip.
