Brief description and main aims

It aims to support, nurture and improve the lives of orphans and children who have been subjected to poverty and abuse by providing food, shelter and education for all the children that arrive at the project.

Main Activities

  • Teach both the primary and secondary children
  • Provide basic necessities (food, shelter, clothing) and guidance for the children

Volunteer tasks

  • Helping with teaching
  • Providing care for the younger children
  • Help with organizing after school activities, e.g. games, arts and crafts, etc.

Volunteer requirements / Skills

  • Ability and willingness to work with children

Location

The project is located in a rural-urban area on the outskirts of Nairobi.  

Hosting Situation (Board and Lodging)

Living with a host family.
