International Office Internship (IDN-68)

Dejavato cooperates with International Program of Faculty of Economic and Business Jenderal Soedirman University (UNSOED) and International Relation Office (IRO UNSOED). The International Program Office is really eager to develop international atmosphere on the campus, as they have received many internationals students from various countries. They use English to communicate among the students and lecturers.

The presence of volunteers is appreciated by the university community in order to motivate the students to actively use their foreign language skills. Furthermore, interaction between the students and volunteer can enhance their cultural knowledge and experience.

The role of the volunteer will be assisting local lecturer in organizing international learning (such as culture, politic, economic, technique, art, science, medical etc – based on the volunteer’s expertise & experience) through dialogue. This way, the students will get a better understanding of another country and acquire new knowledge.

Minimum education level is Master's degree in any field. The volunteer should be open-minded, mature, respectful of local customs, tolerant, creative, flexible, patient, confident and independent. The volunteer should also be willing to accept basic living conditions in the project site.

The volunteer should have never been found guilty in a criminal case. It is strictly prohibited to possess narcotics, marijuana, opium, stimulants or other drugs. The volunteer should not have piercings on the face and no visible tattoos. A common hairstyle (not colourful, dreadlocks) is requested. Flexible vegetarians are welcomed but unfortunately, we are not able to host strict vegetarians (vegan).
