Brief description and main aims
e organization is divided in many projects, so they have a few aims established in the topics of human rights and gender.
First, to create consciousnesses of the importance of taking care of our environment. Weave wigs and donate to cancer patients, as well as support patients with breast cancer. Give unprivileged kids the opportunity to participate in summer activities, provide the basic knowledge to create a small business. And finally, help elderly and orphans to develop self-esteem.

Volunteer tasks

Create spaces of playful learning. Bakery and pastry basic training. Promote the importance of hair donations locally and nationwide. Record a video of the whole process (weaving, donations, and shops).

Volunteer requirements / Skills
Basic spanish, enthusiastic, responsible, friendly. They accept any age and gender.

Location
Riobamba, province of Chimborazo.
The city has a safe environment, locals are friendly and in the rural areas people are very generous. It is recommended to have basic precautions, and be careful with their belongings. All the time the volunteers will be accompanied by a SOFE’s member.
