Brief description and main aims
These foster home is associated to the Fundación San Antonio in Bogotá. It offers integral attention to children and teenagers in Bogotá who need it the most and provide them with protection, inclusion, prevention and capacitation for their lives.

Main Activities
Care for girls and young women between 8 and 18 years old who are in vulnerable conditions and that live in a foster home because their families cannot support them due to economical difficulties. These girls study near their foster home during the morning, and it is possible that the volunteer go to school with them to support their educational activities.

Volunteer tasks
•Plan activities and classes to teach English
•Help with different kitchen tasks
•Support with their homework
•Propose activities to do in the spare time of the girls andyoungsters
•Help with any activity where it is needed

Volunteer requirements / Skills
The volunteer must be female. It is expected that the volunteer has an affinity to work with children and teenagers. They should be a respectful person ready to listening and learning, and also have abilities to teach English.

It is the biggest city in Colombia, the third highest in the world above sea level and known for its high number of universities, libraries and cultural events. It has a population estimated at around 10 million.
