Brief description and main aims

Lovehill School is a Christian faith based institution, which offers quality child care and education for all children across religions and nationalities. It was established on 18th May 2015 as an Early Childhood Development Centre. Currently, it has classes ranging from crèche to class 2 with total population of 160. It has 8 teachers, a caregiver and a cook.

Main Activities

The Lovehill school shall raise children who will imbued with the fear of God alongside societal values and morality as well as basic academic competencies, skills and attitudes which will prepare them to fit into the general culture of the society.

The Lovehill school to become a Centre of excellence reputed from training and raising of disciplined children in order to fit into the Ghanaian society.

Volunteer tasks

The Volunteers will be attached to some of the classes and are expected to:

Assist Teachers in Teaching 

Serve as a role model for the children

Love and share good memories with the children

Assist in organising and planning activities e.g. speech and prize giving day, career day and other school activities

Volunteer requirements / Skills

Being able to both speak and write English

The volunteer must be 18 or above

Hosting Situation (Board and Lodging)

Volunteers will be accommodated in the Project and will be sharing a room with other volunteers should the need be.
