Brief description and main aims La Casita de la Paz provides a safe environement for rural children and young people that are coming to Lima to have Cancer treatment, treatment for burns, have brain paralyzis or need down syndrom therapies. |
Main Activities
“La casita de la Paz” offers a place to rest before and after the medical intervention or therapies, as well, all the beneficiaries and accompanying person have access to food and workshops during their time in the house. Most of the beneficiaries come from for rural areas or indigenous communities, thus, the beneficiaries and their accompanying person will be provided with hosting. While beneficiaries are receiving treatment the project will help the accompanying person to settle down in the city.

Volunteer tasks
The Volunteer will have to help in different activities, since help the administrative team, manage the storages, manage the donations and take care of children to carry out workshops with the children, help to prepare food and help with the promotion of the house on social media (photography or design material). This will depend on their motivation but they are allow to start their own projects in the house.

Volunteer requirements / SkillsSpanish knowledge. The volunteer will have to be willing to help, they have to be proactive and organized, with some artistical skills. |
