Brief description and main aims

Provide a safe refuge for children and families arriving in Lima in search of medical care for severe illnesses such as cancer, organ transplants, or terminal conditions. 

Main Activities

Provide a place where beneficiaries receive food and accommodation, as well as recreational activities, workshops, school support, and more. 

Volunteer tasks

Support in daily household activities: cooking, cleaning, and caring for children and families.

Collaboration in administrative tasks. Management and support in social media.

Participation in educational workshops.

Organization and implementation of recreational activities for children and parents.

Volunteer requirements / Skills

Basic knowledge of the Spanish language.

Volunteers should be proactive, empathetic, creative, and have basic computer skills.

Location

Barrios Altos, which is an area of the Lima Centro district.
