Brief description and main aimsAJUDE (Associação Juvenil Para o Desenvolvimento do Voluntariado em Moçambique) is a non-profit organization which brings together young Mozambicans without distinction to race, sex, religion, tribe, level of education or any other way of discrimination. The idea of creating AJUDE dates back to 1993. Our main objectives are:
We are partners with a) CWY – Canada World Youth; b) Volunteer Centre of South Africa; c) ICYE – International Culture Youth Exchange; d) Botswana Workcamp Association; e) Zimbabwe Workcamp Association; f) SCI – Service Civil International; g) Mozambique National Youth Council; h) LINK – Mozambique NGO’s Forum; i) CCIVS; j) SAYM – Southern Africa Youth Movement; k) SAWC – Southern Africa Workcamp Co-operation; l) Mozambique Volunteering Committee.

LocationThe project is located in a very residential area of Maputo City. It is a very safe area that offers many facilities and is easily accessible from any point of Maputo. |
