Brief description and main aimsFundación Señor San José is a non-profit, Christian-faith based, organisation that provides shelter to at-risk children and teenagers in order to help them have an integral growth. The risk that the children and youth were facing include poverty and family dysfunction due to alcoholism and drug addiction.
The organisation’s vision is to be a safe home for at social risk boys and girls, providing the necessary resources for their integral development, searching for sustainability with our own efforts and involving local, national and international people and community groups. |

The volunteer should:
It is not required for the volunteer to be a Christian, but the volunteer must be respectful that this project is a Christian-faith based organisation and carries out Christian rituals, such as praying.
Background experience in primary education is desirable, and any experience working with children and teenagers.

The porject is located in La Paz, La Paz.

Hosting Situation (Board and Lodging)The volunteer will live with a host family. |
More Information
The project is available to start in August and February every year for 6-12 months.
