Brief description and main aims

The Centre provides shelter, education and rehabilitation to street children.

Main Activities

• Primary school and nursery.
• Home visits.
• Counselling.
• Accomodation of around 100 street children of various ages.
• Baking bread in an own bakery.

Volunteer tasks

Teaching in primary level and nursery school, planning activities for the children, counselling of children, supervising the children during meals and free time.

Volunteer requirements / Skills

• The volunteer should be:
• Fluent english speaker.
• Patient and creative.
• *Best with a christian background or respectful for religion's traditions.
• Willing to work with children.

Eldoret.

Hosting Situation (Board and Lodging)

The volunteer will live with a host family that will provide lodge and board.
