Brief description and main aims

This project hosts elderly people who have been abandoned or have decided to leave their homes because of lack of support and care from their relatives and require help in their daily activities and health care.

Main Activities

The porject's ,main activities include:

• assisting to the personel
• providing support
• caring for the elderly
• participating and organizing activities like gymnastics, music, entertainment games, etc.

Volunteer tasks

The volunteer is expected to:

• help the eldery with personal activities
• organize activities like entertainment and games
• exercise with the elders
• go for walks outside the home with the elders
• accompany the elders when they need to visit the doctor

Volunteer requirements / Skills

The volunteer should

• have a high level of maturity and most importantly sensitivity.
• have experience working in education 
• take iniciative
• have some knowledge of Spanish

Location

The project is located in Sucre.

Hosting Situation (Board and Lodging)

The volunteer will either live at the project or with a host family.
