Brief description and main aims

C.B.T.I.S. is a public institution that provides quality education in order to further the skills and knowledge of young Mexicans coming from different social backgrounds.

Main Activities

• Provide high school education
• Provide technical skills (mechanics, sewing, etc.)
• Provide extracurricular activities, such as football, theater, music lessons, etc. 

Volunteer tasks

• Help to teach English
• Depending on the volunteer, help in other areas (mechanics, sport, lessons, etc.)

Volunteer requirements / Skills

• Have interest in working with young people
• Be able to manage and coordinate groups
• Be responsible
• Demonstrate punctuality

Location

The project is located in Ocotlan, Jalisco.

Hosting Situation (Board and Lodging)

The volunteer will live with a host family.
