Brief description and main aims

Instituto Psicopedagógico San Juan de Dios assists children and adolescents aged between 0 and 18 years old who have physical or mental disabilities and/or  drug-addiction problems by providing  specialized, integral and humanitarian attention in the areas of health and education aiming to reintegrate them back into the society.

Volunteer tasks

The volunteer's tasks include:

• help feed the children
• take care of the children
• take the children to the doctor
• help educate the children
• organize leisure activities 

Volunteer requirements / Skills

The volunteer should:

• be a humanitarian
• have lot of patience
• be caring
• have the will to work
• demonstrate creativity

Location

The project is located in Sucre.

Hosting Situation (Board and Lodging)

The volunteer will live with a host family.
