Chicos de la Calle "Granja Don Bosco de Ambato" (Proyecto Salesianos) (ECU-15)
|
Brief description and main aims
The project offers services to children and adolescents who lived and worked on the street and are in a situation of risk. We provide education, food and shelter in order to improve their living conditions and reintegrate them into their families.
|
Main Activities
In the morning, the boys go to primary or high school in the local community. At 1pm they return to have lunch. Additionally, around 80 boys and girls from the local schools of the area come to the center to have lunch and do their homework until 3:30pm. In the afternoon, the boys of the center participate in sports, farming and livestock projects. All meals are eaten at the project.
