The objective of this project is to provide scholar support and organize/participate in the sportive and artistic activities the center carries out with deaf and handicapped children.
The center hosts several deaf children but is also a school for children that don't have any handicap. The volunteers will appreciate and observe the everyday life habits of the school and of the Moroccan culture through practical and social involvement. They will get in touch with national volunteers and social workers during the activities, which give them the opportunity to get involved in the community, not only inside the center but also outside, when they finish work.
Accompany and assist the kids in their daily activities
Organize leisure activities
Assist the teachers for linguistic classes and help them carry out sportive and artistic activities (Music, plastic arts, football, basketball, karate, etc.)
Organize workshops: Painting – Cooking –Literacy – Music – Outdoor excursions, etc.
The mail goal is to develop self-appreciation in the heart of the kids thourgh a skills-based approach.
Volunteer requirements / Skills
No previous working experience requiredalthough plastic arts skills and interest in sports would give extra quality to the project.
Enthusiastic, positive, patient and respectful people needed.
People psychologically prepared to work with disabled children.
Willingness to develop ties with other nationalities and learn new things, of course we encourage everyone to follow the pace they feel comfortable with.

It is also one of the largest artificial ports in the world and the primary naval base of the Moroccan Navy.
Hosting Situation (Board and Lodging)
The volunteers will live in a host family where they will be given 3 meals per day. Further information will be given in due time.
