About the Project
The project aims to improve the quality of life of the people that live in at-risk areas and to promote sustainable development.
The project works with 2 kindergartens: “Violanta y Werner” and “Nuevo Miguelito”.
They take care of children between 1 to 6 years old, whose parents have low incomes or with complex social and family backgrounds. At the project, the educators and volunteers teach the children how to make handcrafts, coordinate group games, and teach good table manners, as well as music and English.
Accommodation
Volunteers can live in an apartment owned by Sembrar Esperanza with another 1-2 volunteers. The apartment is located in Pomasqui, about 30 minutes by bus from the north of Quito.
Volunteers con also live with a Host Family.
