Location
The project is located in Tandale, 14106 Dar es Salaam. Tandale is one of the largest and most densely populated informal settlements in Dar es Salaam. The neighbourhood is known for its vibrant community, entrepreneurial spirit, and lively local markets. Like many rapidly growing urban areas, Tandale has unplanned housing, narrow roads, and limited infrastructure. The area is home to many children and young people, reflecting the community’s youthful population. Volunteers are encouraged to be mindful of their surroundings, respect local customs, and follow the guidance provided during orientation to ensure a safe and rewarding volunteer experience.
