Brief description and main aims
Prema Kumari, the school's founder thought about starting a school that would provide quality education to the rural children and considering the Right Education Act , the government had to provide 40% free education to the rural and poor formers children. |
Main ActivitiesWe have children aged between 4-13 years old who study from 1st grade to 8th grade, our target group are poor families and formers. We don't believe in any religion but we do believe in inclusive education. We have a very small group of staff members, around 9 individuals, at the school. |
Volunteer tasksVolunteers can lean many things in our project as well as in our villages, like Indian culture, traditions, Indian family, farmers, leaving situation and practices of our daily routine life. Volunteers will mainly teach basic English, carry outdoor activities like games, and do activities based education through crafts, role play, sports and music. |

LocationWe are located in the Nangali village which is attached to NH 75 also boarder of Karnataka and Andra Pradesh region. The village has many religions. Farmers here grow black wheat, raw vegetables like tomatoes, and cauliflower. The economical source of the village is mainly exporting the tomatoes to other regions and othe small businesses. |
