St. Theresa Day and Boarding Primary School Buyege is a primary school that started under the catholic church to help the community tackle the problem of low education. It has children from the age of 4 to 16.

Volunteer tasks

Some of the volunteer's tasks include:

  • Reading and writing
  • Drawing and painting
  • Practicing games and sports
  • Organizing activities related to music, dance and drama
  • Planting trees
  • Playing with children 
  • Gardening

Location

The school is located in Buyege village, Mpigi District, 50 km from Kampala.

Hosting Situation (Board and Lodging)

Our volunteers live at the project in own apartment but eat with the residents of the project.
