Brief description and main aims
It is a Human Rights NGO that works in the knowledge and promotion of Cultures of Peace, seeking the transformation of Colombia into a great School of Peace Transformation. 80% of the work is done with
young people, but they also work with educators, parents and the community in general. It belongs to the network of youth organizations in the world.

Volunteer tasks
1. To support the projects that are being developed
2. Jointly define their role within the projects according to the program they carry out within the university.
3. Contribute specific knowledge of their academic background to the Foundation and the projects being developed.
4. Willingness to offer their expertise in Education for Peace and Culture of Peace.
5. To bring and incorporate new ideas and knowledge to the Foundation and the projects that are being developed.
6. Generate spaces for dialogue and learning
7. Submit management reports on the required dates

Volunteer requirements / Skills
- People who are undergoing undergraduate studies
- Previous study and/or experience in human rights education or peacebuilding
- Possibility of working in the field (partial)

Location
Bogotá is Colombia’s sprawling capital and the cultural, economic, industrial, artistic and sportive centre of the country. With its almost 10 million inhabitants it lies high up in the Andes at 2600m above sea level, making it one of the highest cities worldwide and the most populated in Colombia. Bogotá has a great number of universities and libraries and has a broad cultural offer.
