Brief description and main aims

CADI looks to protect and care for children of single working parents, who are exposed to situations that endanger their physical and emotional being. Most of the children, from 6 months to 6 years old, are in vulnerable conditions and come from dysfunctional and poor families. CADI also promotes a culture of prevention and responsibility for the families. Children 

Main Activities

  • Provide initial and preschool education to children
  • Provide health care services, counselling, food, and shelter
  • Provide parental guidance
  • Provide educational services to the children
  • Take care of children of working mothers
  • Teach human values to kids

Volunteer tasks

  • Support with sports lessons
  • Play with children
  • Support in cooking
  • Assist the teachers
  • Check that children's belongings (clothes, shoes, etc.) are clean, complete, etc.

  • Patient and energetic
Preference: basic level of Spanish 

Location

The project is located in Ocotlan, Jalisco.

Hosting Situation (Board and Lodging)

The volunteer will live with a host family.
