Brief description and main aimsCDM - Centro de Derechos de Mujeres is a feminist organisation that promotes the strengthening of autonomy, justice, the exercise of rights, citizenship and gender equality for women. It is a national and internationally recognised organisation for its contribution in reducing the unequal relationships of power between genders, and for its work in favour of women rights. |
Main ActivitiesCDM carries out several activities related to sexual rights and reproductive rights, the citizenship participation of women, labour force rights for women, prevention and attention of violence against women, and it has a team in charge of observing and analysing the state of human rights of women in Honduras. |
Volunteer tasksDepending on the volunteer’s skills, she/he can help organise and lead seminars or workshops related to any of the subjects that the organisation works with. The volunteer is encouraged to propose projects to carry out during her/his time with the organisation.
Before coming to Honduras, the volunteer will agree together with the organisation what kind of project she/he will carry out.

More Information
The project is available to start in August and February every year for 6-12 months.
