Brief description and main aimsIntegra is a non-profit association, which works with people with mental health problems (Down Syndrome, Autism, etc.). The project assists its clients from the time they turn 18. Integra trains its beneficiaries in order to integrate them into the job force. |

Volunteer requirements / Skills
Mainly, the voluntees need to be patient because they will be surrounded by people with mental dissabilities and it can take time to teach them new skills. It is also important to be sensitive and positive. Volunteers need to be very open, try to talk to the beneficiaries and gain their trust.
The project does not ask for any technical or manual skills, but they prefer if the volunteer speaks a little bit of Spanish because no one in the project speaks another language. |
