Brief description and main aimsThe Roth-Haus is a home for mentally and physically impaired people. The Roth-Haus aims to enable them to develop their own resources and abilities. The work is focused on independence, mobility, responsibility and communication abilities of the residents. |
Main ActivitiesThere is a home and a workshop for the mentally and physically impaired people. The home is divided into four groups. A team of 6 to 10 professional co-workers attends to each group. Around 30 people live in the home. The age of the residents ranges from 18 to 70 years. In the workshop there are two groups of 24 people in total. |

Volunteer requirements / SkillsThe volunteer likes to work with physically and mentally disabled people. The work requires reliable volunteers who have a positive attitude and are able to work in a team. Willingness to learn German. |
LocationMuri is a small village in the canton of Aargau, between Zurich and Lucerne. |
Hosting Situation (Board and Lodging)The volunteer will live with a host family. Lunch will be provided by the project. |
