Brief description and main aims
This Welfare Center entrusted by Seoul YMCA is operating from 1994 with the purpose of preventing and curing the community problems, improving community culture and raising self-support ability of the low-income group based on the historical tradition of Seoul YMCA welfare project.
The aim is to support the low-income group and maintain their livelihood, organize leisure activities for the seniors, help the handicapped, cooperate with community residents, strengthen the solidarity of community and improve the welfare for residents by professional programs.

Main Activities
|
Volunteer tasks
The volunteer will help out in the center through various tasks. These tasks include helping the teachers in kindergarten, being an assistant teacher in the English class for adults and in the art class for children. The volunteer will also spend time helping out in the senior restaurant and disable day-care center for adults. Each day the volunteer will work for 5-6 hours with a lunch break in between.
