About
The Kita Lifestyle provides a safe and supportive environment for children while their parents are at work. The aim is to foster the children’s social, emotional and creative development within a structured daily routine. The daycare takes care of children from 3 months up to 6–7 years. The bilingual programme includes games, singing, handicrafts, painting, theatre play, storytelling, cooking and baking. The children also spend a significant amount of time outdoors to learn more about nature and develop their motoric
Accommodation
The volunteer will stay with a host familyand social skills. Some learning elements are inspired by Montessori methods and include basic maths and German activities.

Volunteer tasks
The volunteer supports the team and does not take on a leading role. As an additional helping hand, the volunteer assists in daily routines, including play and creative activities, snack preparation, hygiene support, outings, simple learning activities, and helping during arrival, lunch and rest time.
Volunteer requirements
The volunteer should have an interest in working with young children and be reliable, punctual and responsible. Team spirit and enjoyment in supporting others are important. Basic German skills are an advantage and will improve through daily practice in the project
Location
Baar is in the Canton (State) Zug, one of the most international regions in Switzerland. The area is home to many international companies and expat families, creating amulticultural environment. At the same time, it offers access to nature and outdoor activities.
