About
The project’s goal is to contribute to the integral development of children and adolescents in vulnerable situations (psychological and learning problems), in order to promote their personal and social growth. Most of the children and adolescents participating in the project have malnutrition and are lacking emotional support.
The project is divided into two areas:
- The Children Development Center (CENDI) which supports children and adolescents to complete their primary and secondary education, through comprehensive training and support (school breakfast, ethics classes, sport lessons, nutritional monitoring, psychological support, and flag ceremonies).
- The Family Development Center (CEDEF) which gives psychological support to children with learning disabilities and/or challenging conduct. It also provides family activities to build healthier and harmonious relationships.
Accommodation
The volunteer will live in the project or with a Host Family at weekends.
