Youth Hostels are non profit accommodation providers with approx. 10.000 guests per year. They offer low-priced accommodation and facilitate the encounter of young people from all over the world, thus promoting mutual understanding.
In a room inside the youth hostel, partly in a separate area with other volunteers.
Different locations
Volunteers will be helping in the kitchen and the dining room, sometimes doing house maintenance. After some months, when you will speak more German, you will be attending clients and working at the reception.
Volunteers should speak English and have a basic knowledge of German. The volunteers need to be flexible, open minded, prepared to work late-night and weekend shifts.
