About

Pro Down is an Association created by the parents of children with Down Syndrome. They look to improve the quality of life of children and young people with Down Syndrome through education. They help children in their daily activities and support them to improve the relationship between the child and the family.

As some of the families attending the project have scarce resources, the project offers them grants so that the children of these families can attend.

Location

Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas

Accommodation

Host family in the city.

Volunteer Tasks

• Provide general support to the teachers, psychologists, therapists, and all staff in the school.
• Help the children during meals.
• Supervise children during game time.

Volunteer Requirements

• The volunteers must have a passion for children and education.
• The volunteer must be patient, tolerant, and flexible with children.
