About

Rajaprajanugroh 24 School is located in northern Thailand, close to the border with Laos. The boarding school is managed by the Rajaprajanugroh Foundation under Royal Patronage and supports children from difficult social background with education, food and accommodation. There are about 1,048 students that come and stay at the school from the primary (7 years old) to high school (18 years old). Most of the students in this school are from hill tribe villages.

Accommodation

Volunteers stay at the school’s accommodation with the Thai teachers. 1-2 Volunteers share a room with shared bathroom. There are a common area and kitchen. Lunch will be provided at the school canteen. Volunteer can cook breakfast and supper. Wifi is available at the school.

Volunteer Tasks

Volunteers will work as English teacher assistants, preparing lessons or the English Camp, supporting the teachers at the school, using non-formal education tools for creative teaching.

In addition volunteer can create their own national club, for example, German club or Korean club to exchange their language and culture with the students.

Support with after school activities (like organic farming, handicraft, organic products).

Volunteer Requirements

• Fluent in English
• Be creative, like to teach using games, songs, storytelling, and dancing
• Show interest in intercultural communication
