About the Project
The “Instituto Psicopedagógico Ciudad Joven San Juan de Dios” is a national institution dedicated to children and young people with disabilities and substance abuse problems. It provides specialized, integral, and humanitarian attention in health and education to individuals under 18 years old with physical and/or mental disabilities and drug addictions.
The institution has a multidisciplinary team focused on:
- Care: Providing overall support.
- Diagnosis: Identifying specific needs and conditions.
- Treatment: Offering therapeutic interventions.
- Rehabilitation: Assisting in recovery and regaining abilities.
- Education: Providing educational services tailored to special needs.
- Social Insertion: Aiming to reintegrate minors back into society.
The institute serves children aged 0 to 18 with special needs and drug addiction problems, with the ultimate goal of reintegrating them into society.
