About

This project supports boys aged 10–18 who are working to overcome drug addiction and reintegrate into their families and communities. Volunteers help by:

  • Supporting children and teenagers in their classes and pedagogical activities

  • Developing your own cultural, recreational, or pedagogical project with the youth

The program provides schooling plus occupational, recreational, and athletic activities for children and teenagers facing serious social and/or drug-related challenges.

Location

Barranquilla is a major port city in northern Colombia and the capital of
Atlántico.

Accommodation

Volunteers are sharing an appartment

Volunteer Tasks

  • Support teachers or therapists in any way possible

  • Hold English lessons

  • Assist with recreational activities

Volunteer Requirements

Volunteers must respect the identity and privacy of the participants, as well as the philosophy of the Foundation and its partner institutions. They should bring initiative and new project ideas to work with the boys. Volunteers are provided with their own room, but should be willing to occasionally share it when the project receives visitors
