About

The aim of Andrew Royal Academy is to support children of the Kasseh community in the Ada-East district of the Greater Accra Region. The school admits pupils from Nursery to Junior high school and has a population of 190 pupils.

Location

The Ada-East district of the Greater Accra Region.

Accommodation

Volunteers will be accommodated in the Project and will be sharing a room with other volunteers.

Child Protection

Please note that you will be required to sign ICYE’s policy Care to Engage on Safeguarding Children.

Volunteer tasks

• Volunteers will support teachers in the classroom
• Help the teachers in taking care of the kids during break
• Assist Class teachers in making teaching and learning materials for kids
• They will assist in organizing school programmes and other activities planned by the school

Volunteer requirements / Skills

• A male or female volunteer between the ages of 18 and above
• He/ She should be able to communicate in English
• He / She should be passionate and interested in working with Children
