About the Project
This project targets children, adolescents, and teachers from schools, university students, and the general population of both urban and rural areas within the department of Chuquisaca. It also collaborates with authorities and institutions working in the environmental sector.
The project’s mission is to protect, defend, and promote the conservation of the environment and natural resources to enhance the quality of life for the inhabitants of Chuquisaca.
Its lines of action include:
- Biodiversity, Natural Resource Management, and Protected Areas: Focusing on the conservation and sustainable use of natural resources and the establishment and management of protected areas.
- Strengthening Municipal Environmental Management: Supporting local governments in their environmental management efforts.
- Environmental Education: Facilitating and implementing formal, non-formal, and informal environmental education processes.
- Support for Protected Areas: Assisting in the strengthening and creation of protected areas.
- Environmental Monitoring: Continuously monitoring mining-related water pollution and its impacts.
- Institutional Support: Strengthening related institutions and organizations.
- Environmental Communication: Conducting internal and external communication on environmental issues.
- Project Development: Developing and executing projects to address environmental problems.
- Resource Mobilization: Raising financial resources to implement planned actions.
