About

Casa del Sol helps vulnerable children from 0 to 8 years old to develop their full potential and to find them a family. The project provides education and a house for homeless children. They ensure good education for the children through an alliance with a nearby kindergarten and elementary school.

Volunteer Tasks

• Play with the children
• Accompany them in their therapies
• Make beds
• Clean children’s toys
• Help the children to eat
• Help them to change their clothes
• General tasks in the house: sorting clothes, helping to look after the babies, feeding, and changing their nappies

Location

The project is located in one of the richest parts of Puebla.

Volunteer Requirements

• To be German
• Enjoy being with young children and/or babies
• Basic Spanish is desirable.
• To have patience with children and lots of energy.
• Age between 18 and 26 years old.
• Willing to work on the same activity for a long time(for example, sorting socks for some hours)

Accommodation

Host family in the city.
