About the Project
This non-profit organization is dedicated to protecting street-working boys and girls aged 7 to 18 who are migrants living in conditions of extreme poverty and social disadvantage in Sucre city. The project aims to reduce marginalization and poverty, thereby improving the life conditions of these vulnerable children and adolescents.
The Foundation operates two orphanages, one for boys and young people and another for girls, to house and care for these children. Within these facilities, they provide:
- Basic Needs: Housing and food.
- Comprehensive Support: Pedagogical support, individualized medical and nutritional care.
- Vocational Training: To equip children with skills for future integration into the labor market.
- Extra-Curricular Activities: Including computer classes and music to complement their formal education.
- Specific Workshops: Covering topics such as health, hygiene, human rights, gender equality, and environmental awareness.
The Foundation currently supports 80 boys and 40 girls within the specified age range.
