About

IED Niño Jesús de Praga is a public school located in Popayán, the main city of the region. The school operates daily, with classes typically held from Monday to Saturday during the morning shift. It serves students of all ages, ranging from preschool to high school.

In addition to its academic curriculum, the school places strong emphasis on environmental education, reflecting its rural context. As a result, it runs several complementary projects, including recycling initiatives, a school garden focused on cultivating medicinal plants, and a cultural project called “De Paso en el Museo” (Going Through the Museum).

Volunteers have the opportunity to support and actively participate in these initiatives. They may also contribute to the school’s communication efforts by assisting with social media and website management.
