About
The AnPing junior high school was founded in 1969. The An Ping junior high school’s aim is to offer high quality education and ensure creative teaching. An Ping hopes that its students possess not only the ability of independent thinking, but also the active and explorative attitude toward learning.
Location
The AnPing Junior High School is situated in AnPing District, Tainan City, in the southern part of Taiwan.
Accommodation
The volunteer will stay with each host family for 3 to 4 months, a total of 3 to 4 host families in 12 months.
Volunteer Tasks
- Teach students about different cultures, customs, sports, or exotic fun games, etc.
- Help students understand foreign cultures and customs to broaden their perspectives.
- Accompany the children to enhance their English.
- Create an English learning environment, which helps the student not to be afraid of English.
Volunteer Requirements
- Be patient and show responsibility, initiative and creativity
- Be interested in working with the youth.
- It is good if the volunteer has English teaching experience, sports, music and art.
