Bernaville offers supported living arrangements, sheltered workshops, vocational training opportunities, and various employment possibilities. The foundation focuses on enabling residents to participate actively in daily life and society while fostering independence and individual strengths.

The region offers a peaceful environment surrounded by nature, while the city of Bern is easily accessible by public transport

Accommodation

The volunteer will have a shared apartment with another Volunteer

Volunteer Tasks

The volunteer supports the regular staff in daily activities, workshops, and residential settings. Tasks may include assisting residents in their work activities, accompanying them during leisure time, supporting daily routines, and helping with organizational or practical tasks.

Volunteer Requirements

The volunteer should be open-minded, patient, and interested in working with adults with cognitive disabilities. Empathy, reliability, and good social skills are important. A willingness to learn German and communicate actively is essential.
