About

CADI looks to protect and care for children from 6 months to 6 years old, who are in vulnerable
conditions. CADI also promotes a culture of prevention and responsibility for the families and promotes human rights and values.

The project provides initial and preschool education to children, health care services, counselling, food, and shelter as well as parental guidance. They additionally take care of the children of working mothers.

Location

Ocotlán, Jalisco

Accommodation

Host family in the city.

 

Volunteer Tasks

  • Support with sports lessons
  • Play with children
  • Support with cooking
  • Assist the teachers
  • Check that children’s belongings (clothes, shoes, etc.) are clean, complete, etc.

Volunteer Requirements

  • Being responsible
  • Showing respect
  • Showing interest in working with children
  • Being patient and having energy to play with the children
  • Preference: basic level of Spanish
