About

The Media Content Creator is ICYE/ VSA Thailand’s project to document our work, the impact volunteers have on communities, the different host projects and the events and activities we organise. You will be practicing your skills with different media tools such as Vlog, story telling, blog, pictures, video, etc. All contents will be used to promote international volunteering.

Accommodation

Volunteers will stay at a local host family in either a private or a shared room with other volunteers. Volunteers are expected to eat Thai food prepared by the local host family and to help preparing meals. You can also share your favourite dishes with them from home.

Volunteer Tasks

The Media Content Creator Project involves collaborative planning with the ICYE/ VSA staff team, tailored to match participants’ skills, interests, and the ongoing projects. Volunteers will create content according to the project timelines set by ICYE/ VSA, with specific goals and content structure defined during planning meetings.

Volunteers may have the chance to travel to different locations throughout Thailand to capture and develop content for each project. Work schedules will be managed in alignment with the local projects to which they are assigned.

Volunteer Requirements

• Volunteers should be interested in working on communication and have some experience in using social media.
• You should have good oral and written communication skills and the capacity to produce engaging content.
• Be fluent in English
• Responsibility and reliability; organized, structured and independent person
