The project aims to provide a safe and caring environment for horses while offering educational and therapeutic experiences for children and young people. It combines animal welfare with social and pedagogical work, promoting empathy, responsibility, and connection to nature.

Volunteers live on the farm, sharing accommodation but having their own private room.

Volunteer Tasks

Volunteers support with the daily routines on the farm, e.g. taking care of horses (feeding, grooming, cleaning stables), supporting with therapeutic riding sessions, helping with seasonal farm tasks, occasionally supporting events or workshops for children and families. You might assist in preparing and running activities for children. You’ll also support the team with general maintenance.

Volunteer Requirements

Volunteers should be interested in working with animals, especially horses, and be motivated to work outdoors in all weather conditions. They should speak English. A basic knowledge of German is useful. Experiences with horses is helpful but not required.
