About

Andoke is located just 15 minutes from the city of Cali, in a unique natural setting. The site features a large butterfly house, a 2,000 m² thematic map of Colombia, birdwatching trails, a zoo laboratory, beekeeping areas, orchards, and composting spaces. Andoke is recognized as a Science Center by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.

Within this environment, Andoke designs and implements programs focused on environmental education, the conservation of natural and cultural heritage, and nature-based tourism.

Andoke is committed to fostering environmental awareness and social transformation through the social appropriation of knowledge. Its work aligns with five of the Sustainable Development Goals, contributing to the sustainable development of the city.

Volunteer Tasks

  • The volunteer will contribute to project formulation by designing and organizing different activities for children.

  • They will also support marketing and human resources efforts, primarily focused on engaging visitors who are curious about the project and interested in learning more about it.

Volunteer Requirements

Ideal candidates include biologists, environmentalists, artists, recent graduates, and professionals in digital marketing. The project also welcomes young people passionate about environmental issues and nature conservation who enjoy working with the community, especially children, on topics such as agroecology and/or social media management and digital strategies.
