About

The foundation Campeones de Amor (“Champions of Love”) works with children and teenagers with special needs, with the aim of improving their quality of life. The organization is dedicated to supporting their personal development and fostering their inclusion in the community.

The foundation recognizes sport—such as football, swimming, basketball, athletics, and beach volleyball—as a powerful tool for developing talents, building capacities, and strengthening individual abilities. In addition, physical and recreational activities, including arts and handicrafts, provide valuable opportunities to enhance autonomy and independence among participants. Also, we work closely with families, supporting them in the education of their children and helping to build confidence and a sense of security.

At the community level in Tunja, the organization promotes awareness and inclusion, encouraging respectful attitudes towards children who require special attention. Furthermore, the foundation seeks partnerships and mechanisms to strengthen the training of educators, particularly in relation to addressing the physical and neurological needs of the children.
