About the Project

This state boarding house provides immediate attention to adolescent girls from various social backgrounds and with family problems, particularly those facing legal issues. It serves as a temporary residence for girls awaiting court sentences, with the goal of reintegrating them into society and their families after their stay.

The center’s services include:

  • Housing: Providing accommodation for adolescent girls.
  • Psychological Assistance: Offering psychological support to the residents.
  • Community Participation: Stimulating girls to engage in community activities.
  • Occupational Therapies: Helping them develop their abilities through various occupational therapies.
  • Educational Support: Some girls attend school as part of their court sentences.

Volunteer Tasks

Assisting the staff and helping in different activities to the adolescents with homework, school support, games, crafts and in everything relates to occupational therapy mentioned below.

Volunteer Requirements

It is advisable the volunteer should have some training- knowledge in occupational therapy, such as embroidery, sewing, painting or crafts. A lot of initiative and motivation is essential. Basic or intermediate level of Spanish is required.
