About
Asociación Arca de Esperanzas is a non-profit organization supporting children, youth, and adults with brain injuries or neurological conditions, as well as those seeking to improve neurological performance. It provides comprehensive rehabilitation, early stimulation, and therapeutic support, while guiding families through processes that enhance physical, social, and cognitive development.
The organization works with conditions such as Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, ADHD, and other neurological or physical disabilities.
Its main programmes include early stimulation for young children, neurological reorganization therapies, horse-assisted therapy, neurofeedback, and life skills development to promote independence, confidence, and social inclusion.

Volunteer Tasks
- Volunteer tasks depend on the chosen area or may involve rotating across programmes. Volunteers can support as therapy assistants in Early Stimulation, Neurological Reorganization, Equine Therapy, and Life Skills, as well as in production, recycling, or horticultural therapy activities.
- Additional tasks may include assisting with recycling initiatives, supporting English–Spanish translations (e.g. for the Neurofeedback programme), helping organize and facilitate workshops, and contributing to communication efforts such as website management, social media, and outreach strategies.
Volunteer Requirements
- Age: 20–40
- Open to all genders
- Basic English and/or Spanish skills
- Relevant experience is an asset
Volunteers should be empathetic, open-minded, and motivated to work with children. Due to the health needs of beneficiaries, non-smokers are strongly preferred.
