About the Project
CEPAM is a self-sustaining institution dedicated to enhancing the social situation and quality of life for diverse women across all stages of their lives, while advocating for equal opportunities in social, political, and economic spheres. By specializing in the defense of women’s human rights, CEPAM offers a range of services including training in gender issues, violence prevention, empowerment, and employability, alongside legal, psychological crisis intervention, and social services. Volunteers can contribute to areas such as communication, marketing, fundraising, and image organization.

Volunteer Tasks
Depending on volunteer skills:
- Share CEPAM’s activities through social media
- Help develop and update the webpage
- Train CEPAM team members in use of social media
- Design social media campaigns for: fundraising, volunteering, and for specific themes including gender violence, femicide, working with youth, ‘masculinities’ and commemoration of important dates
- Create English content for websites.
- Map out and create a database of potential ally non-profit organizations in other countries
- Develop information, content and project profiles for potential donors
- Assist CEPAM in developing new sources of cooperation
Volunteer Requirement
Volunteers for this project should demonstrate a strong interest in and commitment to the principles of gender equality and social inclusion. While Spanish proficiency is preferred, it is not strictly required. Both male and female applicants are encouraged. The availability of personal computers for volunteers is ideal. Specifically, one volunteer should possess general computer, communication, marketing, and social media skills. A second volunteer would ideally have a background or studies in social sciences or politics, with a keen interest in development and cooperation themes.
