About

The mission of Achiaa Greenlight School is to provide formal education, develop future leaders, and contribute to the development of children in Ghana. The school has about 700 students and more than 50 employees. It admits children aged 2 to 16 years into its daycare, primary, and junior high school departments.

Accommodation

Volunteers will be accommodated in the school as there is a furnished apartment on the school compound.

Kumasi, Ashanti Region

Volunteer Tasks

Assisting the teachers during class
Some of the duties can include:

• Teaching
• Taking care of the children
• Support and special attention to the childrens needs

Volunteer Requirements

• Male or Female volunteers between the ages of 18-30 years.
• Volunteers should be open-minded
• The volunteer should be able to communicate in English since
  the official language in Ghana is English.
